CELLOLYDINSTALLASJON (2018)

For the celloLYD festival 2018 four retired cellos got a new life as a sound installation instrument suspended in metal wires in traditional fish drying racks in the Lofoten Islands, Norway.

about The installation was open for everyone to explore, mostly as an acoustic sound installation instrument, but for special occasions amplified with contact microphones for fuller sound potential. Bows where available. For the opening concert of the festival the celloLYD cellists performed a new composition by me written for the instrument.
