YOU MIGHT LIKE ME BETTER IF WE SLEEP TOGETHER (2019)

Composition of original sound for dance performance by Thomas of Norway

You Might Like Me Better If We Sleep Together explores concepts such as #MeToo, “the meat market” and dickpics. The audience gets a glimpse into a world that cultivates the perfect body, where the pursuit of attention, confirmation and sex is more important than anything else.

In the performance, the audience enter a nightclub; a colourful, glossy and fun place with pulsating lights, bare skin, and fierce rhythms. The audience is drawn into a suggestive atmosphere, but quickly encounters the repulsive side of clubbing. Soon the party turns, and it all looks like a bad dream.

TWO SIDES OF THE RIVER (2023)

Collaboration with Pavlo Grazhdanskij. A follow-up to the same named artwork from a year earlier. Imagined by the artists, a call and response sound experience across the Pasvik river, which could not take place as planned because authorities in Nikel silenced one side of the performance due to the risk of a “snow storm”. One year later, the artists present a sad memory of the event.
