Mørket (darkness) is part of a series of moods created in 2013. Originally composed as an electro acoustic composition, the piece was later developed into several versions; for string octet and tape at UNM festival in Helsinki in 2015, for string quartet and high order ambisonics sound with the string quartet Chordos in the 5th order ambisoncis sphere at MiSC in Vilnius, and for string quartet and five speakers with Siggi String Quartet at Nordic Music Days in Reykjavik 2017. In 2022 it was reworked and released as a stereo piece on the Arctic Atonal Assemble “Mørketid” on total division. In 2022 it was also reworked into a high order ambisonics electroacoustic composition.
